CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men's soccer student-athlete Jake Chasteen was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team selected by CoSIDA.
Posting a 3.91 GPA in exercise science, Chasteen was nothing short of spectacular both on and off the field as a senior for the Mountaineers. Chasteen registered the most shutouts in the Sun Belt with seven, which is also tied for the second most in a single season in program history and is tied for 21st in the country. His .844 goals against average were the highest in the Sun Belt and 37th in the nation, while he posted a league-high .
