NEW ORLEANS - App State junior Emily Carver has earned Preseason Third Team All-Sun Belt accolades, the league announced Monday.
Last season, Carver led the Sun Belt in 3-pointers per game in season and league-only play and shot a league-high .444 from beyond the arc in SBC action. The Asheville, N.C. native started all 31 games and was the Black and Gold's top scorer in 10 games as well as the top rebounder in nine games. Carver accounted for 76 of App State's single-season record 233 made 3-pointers, and ranked within the top-55 in the NCAA for 3-pointers made per game.
