BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University golf director Heather Brown has signed a contract extension to coach the women's golf program through the 2022 season, Director of Athletics Doug Gillin announced Monday.
The extension for Brown, an App State alum, was approved by Appalachian State Chancellor Sheri Everts and the Appalachian State Board of Trustees.
"I am especially grateful to Chancellor Everts, Doug Gillin and the Board of Trustees for giving me the opportunity to continue to mentor App State student-athletes at the place I love," said Brown, who was a team captain as an App State player.
