JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Appalachian State University men's track and field's Stanley Broaden placed 21st in the 400-meter hurdle quarterfinals on Friday.
In the NCAA East Prelims, Broaden took 21st with a time of 52.81 and will not advance to the NCAA's in Oregon. Broaden won the 400-meter hurdle title at the Sun Belt Championships with a personal-best time of 50.67 - good for second all-time in program history.
The Mountaineers still have Nathan Milch yet to compete tomorrow in the shot put. The event will begin at 6 p.
