BOONE, N.C. -- posted the ninth fastest time in program history in the 10,000-meter run on Friday evening at the Raleigh Relays.
Benz crossed 14th overall in the 10,000-meter run in 30:18.29, moving him into ninth place in program history. His time also represents a PR by over a minute and ranks as the top time in the Sun Belt this season.
Also at the Raleigh Relays, posted a PR time of 9:16.08 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. His time now sits second in the Sun Belt this season.
The Black and Gold also sent a group of athletes to the Pepsi Florida Relays.
