BOONE, N.C. — Week 7 of the NFL season included one matchup of App State Football alums who were college teammates a decade ago and another matchup of two Mountaineers.
Veteran center Daniel Kilgore made his second straight start for the reigning Super Bowl champions as the Kansas City Chiefs won 43-16 against the Denver Broncos, whose roster features punter Sam Martin.
Kilgore played on 80 percent of the offensive snaps in the high-scoring win that gave Kansas City a 6-1 record.
