Apps Set for Run at Sun Belt Championships

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – Appalachian State opens play at the 2017 Sun Belt Women’s Golf Championships on Monday. The 54-hole event will be played in the Robert Trent Jones “Fighting Joe” Course in Muscle Shoals, Ala.

Play begins on Monday morning at the lengthy Fighting Joe. App’s tee times begin at 8:40 a.m. CT off of No. 10. The Mountaineers will play with Arkansas State in the opening round. Coastal Carolina (1), Texas State (2), and Troy (3) are the top seeds for the championship. App State head coach Heather Brown wants consistency from her team to stay in the running on the longer Fighting Joe.
