Apps' Offense Comes Alive in Victory over Akron

AKRON, Ohio - Jalin Moore made history on Saturday, and Appalachian State University football walked away with a high-scoring 45-38 victory in Infocision Stadium over the Akron Zips.

Moore was a workhorse, rushing for the sixth-highest total in school history. He posted 257 yards on 39 carries, which also ties for the fourth most rushing attempts in a single game. The sophomore tailback spearheaded a rushing attack that averaged 6.3 yards per carry and totaled an impressive 307 yards on the ground.

Taylor Lamb also produced an efficient performance completing 22-of-30 passes for a season-high three scores through the air and rushing for another touchdown.
