HILTON HEAD, S.C. — Appalachian State University women's golf complete the first round of the Low Country Intercollegiate on Saturday at Moss Creek Golf Club on the South Course. The Mountaineers posted a 305 in round one, good enough for third place of 18 teams going into the final round on Sunday.
Freshman Joliana Elias lead the way for the Mountaineers, finishing the day in second place. Elias tied her season and career-low with a 73 in round one. Two strokes behind Elias and also in the top-ten was Emily Stinson.
