HAYESVILLE, N.C. – Appalachian State University women’s golf finished the final round of the 2016 Bill Berg Invitational on Tuesday at the Ridges Country Club. The Mountaineers finished fourth for the tournament after shooting 911 (+47) for the tournament, just two stroked off second place host team Western Carolina.
Appalachian State shot 304 in the first round before carding a 307 and 302 in the second and third rounds, respectively.
Leading the pack for the Mountaineers was Hannah Craver (Winston-Salem, N.C./Reagan), who finished tied-seventh with a tournament score of 225 after shooting a 79, 72, and 74 for the tournament to finish just nine over.
