JONESBORO, Ark. -- Darrynton Evans ran for 115 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries to help Appalachian State beat Arkansas State 35-9 on Tuesday night.

Tae Hayes intercepted Justice Hansen's pass three plays later and his 19-yard return set up the Mountaineers with a first-and-goal from the 3. Evans' 1-yard TD run made it 21-9 with 45 seconds left in the half.
