AUBURN, Ala. – Appalachian State University women's track and field finished up the first day of the War Eagle Invite on Friday evening.
Torre Moser claimed an 11th-place finish in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:38.32. In the 5,000-meter run, Dana Cox finished 16th with a time of 17:49.38.
In the field, India McWhorter took 10th in the hammer throw with a distance of 161-6. Brianna Tate finished 13th with a throw of 157-7 and Samantha Welborn took 17th with a best of 145-0.
