BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State softball continues their season in Cary, N.C. on Wednesday, April 11 for a midweek doubleheader against N.C. Central at Thomas Brooks Park.
The Apps are 13-21 overall as they look to pick up two more non-conference wins on the road against the Eagles. The Mountaineers are 10-2 all-time against N.C. Central with the most recent meeting in 2016.
The Mountaineer offense has stepped up this season with a .273 team batting average. The team totals 20 home runs so far this season with 148 runs scored.
In the Apps' most recent series, Alisha Josey sent her sixth home run over the fence at Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium in the game one.
