STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. – Appalachian State closed with a team-309 to finish 10th in a field of 15 teams at the 24th Annual John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate, which wrapped up Tuesday at Eagles Landing Golf Club.
App State (+66) finished seven shots ahead of UAB (+73) and 12 ahead of Western Carolina (+78). Eastern Kentucky (+24) won a playoff with Murray State to capture the team title, while Kansas State (+26) took third. EKU’s Elsa Moberly finished at 4-under for the event with a 73 (+1) on Tuesday to capture medalist honors by four strokes.
