BOONE, N.C.- Appalachian State University men’s tennis men (2-1) swept past Lees-McRae, 7-0, on Sunday morning at Deer Valley Racquet Club.
Each of the doubles pairings for the Black and Gold was debuted today, as each pairing appeared for the first time together this season. All three of the doubles matches went to the Mountaineers on Sunday.
In addition, five of the six singles matches resulted in straight sets.
“From start to finish, I thought we played really well,” stated head coach Bob Lake. “Some of the guys were able to get their first wins of the season, and we got to see some different pairings in doubles play.
