App State Suffers Setback in Valiant Performance

BOONE, N.C. -- Appalachian State University men’s tennis (11-7) fell to a tough Georgia Southern team in a valiant 4-1 setback on Sunday afternoon at Stadium Courts.

Despite the score, the Mountaineers hung tough with a Georgia Southern squad that has 17 wins this season. GASO captured the doubles point, and three of the four finished singles matches.

Scott Webster and Milo Bargeron cruised to their eighth win of the season as a tandem with a 6-1 victory over Dani Casablancas and Christian Kerrigan, 6-1, which would get the Apps off to a fast start.
