BOONE, N.C. - App State will open the Sun Belt Tournament as the 7th seed in the bracket, and face off with 10th seeded Marshall in the opening round, Monday at 5 p.m. ET. The tournament will be played in Foley, Ala. and be broadcast on ESPN+.
ABOUT APP STATE: App State (6-8-4, 5-5-0) won three of their final four matches in conference play, finishing fourth in the East Division. Most recently they fell, 1-0, in the season finale at Texas State on Thursday. The Mountaineers posted conference wins over ULM, Coastal Carolina, Old Dominion, Southern Miss and Louisiana this season.
