DAYTONA, FLA. - Appalachian State University men’s tennis (9-6) came back from a 1-0 deficit in doubles play to upend Oral Roberts (5-8) on Wednesday morning in Daytona, Fla.
The Mountaineers finish 7-5 on the 12-match road trip while winning six of their previous seven contests. App needed to win four singles matches after dropping the doubles portion. The win also gives App its third win streak of at least three matches this season.
“Today was a great test for us, especially when we face a deficit going into singles,” said head coach Bob Lake.
