DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The final round of the 2021 Sun Belt Women's Golf Championship was canceled Tuesday as the course was deemed unplayable. App State's two-round score of 605 resulted in a ninth-place finish for the Mountaineers to close out the 2020-21 campaign.
Final scores, both team and individual, were determined based on the results entering day three's final round. Coastal Carolina was awarded both the individual, sophomore Sophia Carlsen, and team titles with its day-two surge up the leaderboard.
The Mountaineers posted back-to-back season team low rounds, an opening-round of 303 and a 302 during Monday's second round.
