Boone, N.C. – Appalachian State University field hockey slips to Georgetown 4-3 in a nail-biting match that went into overtime on Sunday afternoon at the Brandon & Erica M. Adcock Field Hockey Stadium.
“Today was a heart-breaker, but a really positive experience for our group,” said head coach Meghan Dawson. “We got better today and we were able to string more passes together. We had one of our freshman, Kaley Selner, step up today and add a goal and good defensive work. Our group will continue to work hard and get better everyday.
