BOONE, N.C. — As fundraising efforts continue to help App State Athletics reach new heights, the development office is being renamed the Mountaineers Athletic Fund and will feature a simplified structure for its annual fund and philanthropic giving components.
The Mountaineers Athletic Fund raises support for App State student-athletes across 17 intercollegiate sports. It is comprised of two main components (details in the chart below):
- Yosef Club (annual giving)
- Leadership Society (major gifts)
"We want to provide our fans with the best customer experience possible, and with that, it is important for our development office's name and mission to be clear and recognizable," said Doug Gillin, App State Director of Athletics.
