MORGANTON, N.C. – Appalachian State will host the 2017 Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate on Sunday and Monday at Mimosa Hills Country Club in Morganton, N.C. The 36-hole event begins at 9 a.m. Sunday with a shotgun start.
The tournament is App State’s final tune-up ahead of the 2017 Sun Belt Championships in Muscle Shoals, Ala. later this month. App is coming off a 10th place finish at the 24th John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate, but did finish second out of four Sun Belt schools in the field despite some inconsistent moments. Head Coach Heather Brown is ready to see her team put together consistent rounds and build some momentum heading into the championship.
