A Winter Revival this Weekend at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort

Related Topics: Snow, Winter

And you thought winter was over! The snow machines have been covering the slopes around the clock since the wee hours of Thursday, and should continue throughout Saturday. Natural snow began falling early this morning and has created a pretty back drop.

Expect ten slopes including Tom Terrific and Gunther’s Way to be covered with a fifteen to forty-five inch, man-made, packed powder, and frozen granular snow surface. The tubing park is open with three lanes, and all sessions are open. Six sessions of ice skating are also offered.

This Sunday, Sugar Bear celebrates his birthday and the Dick Trundy Sugar Cup competition honors the life of Sugar’s former director of operations, a two-star Marine Corp General.
