BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State Athletics celebrated the accomplishments of 86 student-athletes by proudly presenting them their letter jackets on Monday. The first-year letter winners represented nine different Black and Gold athletic programs from 2018-19 fall and winter sports.
The letterman award ceremony occurs biannually and is sponsored by the Former Athletes Association. Former first-year letter winners, coaches and members of administration attended the ceremony to honor student-athletes from football, field hockey, women's soccer, men's soccer, volleyball, women's basketball, men's basketball, cross country and indoor track and field.
