Boone, N.C. – Appalachian State held its 2019 spring commencement ceremonies May 10-11, and 61 current and former Mountaineer student-athletes received a bachelor's or master's degree from the university.
Nearly every App State sport boasted a graduate over the weekend, including the Sun Belt champion football and women's cross country teams, as well as the Sun Belt regular-season champion women's tennis team and the Southern Conference regular-season champion wrestling team.
Many graduates were recognized for their hard work and dedication at the annual Senior Dinner on Thursday night, where they celebrated with their coaches, academic advisors, Director of Athletics Doug Gillin and other members of the App State athletics administration.
