BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State Athletics recognized 210 student-athletes on the fall 2018 academic honor roll. Of these student-athletes, 34 had a perfect 4.0 semester GPA.
These honorees were recognized at halftime of the men's basketball game on Thursday. To achieve academic honor roll status, these student-athletes earned a 3.25 or higher GPA for the fall semester while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours. In addition to 210 student-athletes, 85 members of the cheer team, the dance team, athletic training and other student support staff received this standing.
This past semester is now the 13th consecutive semester with a GPA above 3.
