BOONE, N.C. — Fifteen Appalachian State University football student-athletes are among Athlon’s 2016 preseason all-Sun Belt Conference honorees.
Six first-team selections headline Appalachian State’s 15 representatives on Athlon’s annual preseason all-conference teams — junior quarterback Taylor Lamb, senior running back Marcus Cox, senior offensive lineman Parker Collins, senior inside linebacker John Law, junior inside linebacker Eric Boggs and junior defensive back Latrell Gibbs.
Junior offensive linemen Colby Gossett and Beau Nunn, senior defensive lineman Nate Norwood and senior punter Bentlee Critcher represent the Mountaineers on the second team.
