Only 94 days stand between us and the Anaheim Ducks first preseason game against the San Jose Sharks on September 17, 2019. While the preseason isn’t always exactly the most exciting, it allows coaches, general managers, and the fans to have a glimpse into what the coming season may hold for their team.
Preseason is also the time for coaches to experiment with rookies, players signed in free agency, and their current core before the 82 game race to the Stanley Cup Playoffs begins. They can gauge who has chemistry with one another, what works, and what doesn’t.
