Condolences poured into the Pi Beta Phi sorority after a member's body was found Monday inside a burning apartment near the Westwood campus.

The student has not been identified because her body was badly burned, said L.A. County Coroner’s Lt. Fred Corral. Her death is being investigated as an apparent homicide, he said.

“It’s going to take a while to identify,” Corral said.
