Rock out to '70s music from Kansas and Blue Oyster Cult at a free show

Two mega-rock groups straight out of the 1970s round out the Fremont Street Experience’s Rock of Vegas 2015 free summer concert series on Sunday, Sept. 6.

Get your lighters at the ready. Kansas and special guest Blue Oyster Cult are set to perform on the 3rd Street Stage.

Kansas -- yes, out of Topeka, Kan. -- has been a staple of the rock soundtrack for more than four decades. With eight gold albums, three sextuple-platinum albums, one platinum live album and a million-selling gold single, “Dust in the Wind,” Kansas spent more than 200 weeks on the Billboard charts during the ’70s and ’80s.
