NBC's 'Blindspot' filled with 'twists and turns' and tattoos

NBC's new drama "Blindspot" is mysterious — but that's kind of the point.

The show, which premieres Sept. 21 after "The Voice," follows an FBI team investigating a mystery involving a Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) covered in intricate tattoos, each of which contains clues to crimes.

"Each episode is a puzzle piece," said Sarah Schechter, one of the show's executive producers, at the Television Critics Assn. summer media tour in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

The series is the latest from prolific writer-producer Greg Berlanti ("The Mysteries of Laura"). It costars Sullivan Stapleton, Audrey Esparza and Rob Brown.
