Mike Trout leads Angels rallies in 13-7 rout of the Rangers

Nothing, it seems, can slow Mike Trout down. In fact, he might be getting even better.

With a pair of home runs and a couple of singles, Trout went four for four and drove in five runs to lead the Angels to an 13-7 victory over the Rangers on Sunday afternoon.

The win snaps a three-game losing streak for the Angels and helps them avoid four consecutive home losses for the first time since August 2013.

Such a dominant victory hardly seemed likely four innings into the game. While the socre was tied, 2-2, the Angels faced the possibility of three injured players when Trout jammed his wrist diving for a ball while Erick Aybar and Matt Joyce collided in left field tracking down a fly ball.
