Another theater is on the way to the Las Vegas Strip, this time coming to the Monte Carlo. MGM Resorts announced the 5,000-seat, unnamed concert hall, which means the company will be taking a wrecking ball to the Blue Man Group’s theater at the resort.
The theater joins the $100-million The Park, a new entertainment and dining district under construction between the Monte Carlo and New York-New York. There, a $350-million, 20,000-seat arena is also under construction with an April 2016 opening date. MGM Resorts expects the Monte Carlo’s new theater to debut in late 2016.
