Man stunned after buying $1 million lottery ticket with $20 found at airport

A Bay Area bartender is flying high after he won $1 million with a $20 bill he found outside of San Francisco International Airport.

California lottery officials say the man, Hubert Tang, was outside the airport Wednesday when he found the bill, which he used to buy a pair of scratchers at a market in Millbrae.

It was his first time playing the lottery in 10 years, he said.

“I told my friend who I was with that I didn’t know if it was real but, ‘I think I just won a million dollars,” Tang said, according to a release from the state lottery.
