The Laguna Beach House wants to school you in how to shape a surfboard.
That's why it has partnered with hand-crafted surfboard maker Donald Brink to teach you everything you need to know.
Guests stay two nights in a coastal view room at the recently renovated hotel. Then it's off to Brink's studio in Dana Point to learn the basics: theory and design of surfboard shaping.
The hotel's Shape, Surf & Stay package provides an opportunity to learn one-on-one with Brink as you work on your very own board. Afterward, Brink will take you to one of his favorite Orange County surf spots for a ride, depending on conditions.
