Live updates: Zack Greinke extends scoreless innings streak to 44 2/3

Updates from Zack Greinke's pursuit of the Major League record for most consecutive scoreless innings:

FIRST INNING: After the Mets' reigning Rookie of the Year, Jacob deGrom, retired the Dodgers in order, Zack Greinke went to work extending his scoreless-inning streak in an easy first inning.

Curtis Granderson grounded out to first, Greinke covering, to lead off the inning. Shortstop Ruben Tejada bounced out to second and third baseman Daniel Murphy also grounded out, Adrian Gonzalez to Greinke.

That pushes Greinke's scoreless inning streak to 44 2/3 innings. He threw just 10 pitches in the first inning.
