In the 2 1/2 weeks since Jimmy Rollins last played shortstop, much has changed. Specifically, as Rollins nursed a hand injury, Corey Seager has thrust himself into the Dodgers' infield conversation.
On Wednesday, though, his first game back in the field, Rollins was penciled in at shortstop. Seager played third.
Before the game Rollins said his hand was "good enough to play," but he did not elaborate.
Rollins said his understanding was that he remained the everyday shortstop.
"As long as my hand's good, I'll probably be out there," he said.
