Iran nuclear agreement stirs optimism -- and a few shrugs -- back home

Iranians tweeted optimistic messages on social media Tuesday following news of the country's historic nuclear agreement, many of them grateful for a chance at thawing years of isolation from the outside world.

"Even a police chief said the police will be right next to the people celebrating," @NoFacadeHirad posted on Twitter. "(I'll try to record as much as I can)."

The deal, announced Tuesday, capped nearly two years of talks and an 18-day round of negotiating that lasted late into Monday night.
