UCLA had a rough summer of recruiting.
But the Bruins now will go into the fall with one of the biggest names in the 2016 class committed.
“I have decided to continue my education and play football for the next 4 years at #UCLA #4sUp #BruinRevolution,” Oluwole Betiku, a defensive lineman at Gardena Serra, wrote on Twitter.
Betiku, 6 feet 4 and 240 pounds, is considered one of the best linemen in the country.
A native of Nigeria, Betiku said last month at the Opening, an elite high school showcase, that he had built a strong relationship with UCLA offensive lineman Caleb Benenoch, who is the son of Nigerian immigrants.
