If you happen to be in or around West Hollywood on Tuesday and think you'll be in need of some caffeine, you may want to set this reminder on your phone's calendar now: Verve Coffee Roasters will have a soft open of its Melrose Avenue cafe on Sept. 1. This will be the Santa Cruz-based roaster's second location in the Los Angeles area; the first, as you may recall, opened in downtown L.A. earlier this year.
For its West Hollywood location, Verve wanted to offer an "experience that reflects the neighborhood," says Colby Barr, who co-founded Verve along with Ryan O’Donovan.
