It took Nashville an entire four and a half minutes to get their first shot on goal. That normally sounds amazing, but the Ducks probably did not want for that to result in a goal. Josh Manson went for an open ice hit in the neutral zone leaving Lindholm all alone to play defense. After the Swede tried to pressure on the boards, Colin Wilson was left wide open in front of the goal. Bernier did his best to be aggressive and cut the angle, but Wilson made a great move to score the opening goal of the game.
