After ending their losing streak with a win against Vancouver, the Ducks couldn’t continue their progress as they fall to the Boston Bruins 3-0. The Ducks did put up a solid effort in terms of offense, but just couldn’t get one past Jaroslav Halak.
They were getting the chances, outshooting the Bruins overall, and it seemed like they were just one bounce away from really hitting a scoring stride. Some costly penalties and poor plays on defense killed their momentum and they just ran out of time to make something happen.
1st Period
The period didn’t start the way the Ducks would’ve liked, with the Bruins scoring first.
