Ducks Sign RW Noesen to One-Year Contract

The Ducks have signed right wing Stefan Noesen to a one-year, two-way contract through the 2016-17 season. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Noesen, 23 (2/12/93), has appeared in two career NHL games with Anaheim, going scoreless. The 6-1, 205-pound winger has played 94 career American Hockey League (AHL) contests with San Diego and Norfolk, collecting 17-31=48 points with 87 penalty minutes (PIM). He has also added 2-9=11 points with six PIM in 13 career Calder Cup Playoff games.

Acquired from Ottawa with Jakob Silfverberg and a first-round selection in the 2014 NHL Draft in exchange for Bobby Ryan on July 5, 2013, Noesen set AHL career highs in goals (10), assists (22) and points (32) last season with San Diego.
