The Ducks have signed left wing Max Jones to a three-year entry-level contract. Per club policy, no financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
Jones, 18 (2/17/98), helped lead London to Memorial Cup and Ontario Hockey League championships in 2016, collecting 1-1=2 points with 23 penalty minutes (PIM) in six playoff games. Jones appeared in his rookie OHL season in 2015-16, scoring 28-24=52 points with a +30 rating in 63 games with London. The 6-2, 206-pound winger was a finalist for the OHL Rookie of the Year award after ranking tied for second among league rookies in goals.
