The Ducks have signed forwards Michael Sgarbossa and Joseph Cramarossa, and defenseman Andrew O'Brien to one-year contract extensions through the 2016-17 season. Per club policy, no financial terms of the deals were disclosed.
Sgarbossa, 23 (7/25/92), has earned one assist (0-1=1) with 14 penalty minutes (PIM) in 10 career NHL games with Anaheim and Colorado. In 228 career American Hockey League (AHL) contests with San Diego, Norfolk and Lake Erie, the 6-0, 189-pound forward has collected 51-95=146 points with 253 PIM. Acquired with a conditional seventh-round selection in the 2015 NHL Draft from Colorado in exchange for defenseman Mat Clark, Sgarbossa also owns 1-4=5 points with two PIM in five career Calder Cup Playoff games with San Diego.
