The Ducks have recalled defenseman Shea Theodore to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Theodore, 20 (8/3/95), has appeared in 47 AHL games this season, scoring 8-23=31 points with 32 penalty minutes (PIM). He has also collected 2-4=6 points with a +3 rating in 13 games with the Ducks this season. Theodore made his NHL debut on Dec. 29 at Calgary and became the first Ducks rookie to have his first NHL goal come as a power play/game-winning tally since Shane O’Brien (Oct. 18, 2006 vs. Detroit) on Jan.
