Ducks Recall Khudobin from San Diego (AHL), Place Stoner on Injured Reserve

The Ducks have recalled goaltender Anton Khudobin from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). The Ducks have also placed defenseman Clayton Stoner on injured reserve (hip flexor). In addition, Frederik Andersen is doubtful for tonight’s contest with an upper-body injury.

Khudobin, 29 (5/7/86), has gone 3-3-0 with one shutout, a 2.70 goals-against average (GAA) and .908 save percentage (SV%) in eight games for the Ducks this season. Khudobin earned his first win as a Duck on Oct. 18 vs. Minnesota and recorded his fifth career shutout in a 1-0 victory on Nov.
