As the students of Star View Elementary in Midway City arrived back from their spring break, they were welcomed by some campus upgrades that undoubtedly made their return from vacation a little easier to take.
While the kids were enjoying time off last week, more than 125 volunteers were working to provide the school with a makeover as part of the Anaheim Ducks “Power PLAY!” project. Participants in the rejuvenation effort included Star View teachers and staff, along with Ducks and Honda Center staff members, season and premium seat holders, Ducks Power Players and volunteers from several of the Ducks corporate partners, including 7UP, Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Deja Blue and Park West Companies.
