Ducks might be without Frederik Andersen when they play Chicago on Friday

Anaheim goalie Frederik Andersen remains ill and didn't come to the rink Thursday, Ducks Coach Bruce Boudreau said, so he likely won't be available for the game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.

The real concern for the Ducks is consistency because they have not won two in a row since a four-game winning streak Nov. 1-7. The teams play at 2 p.m. Friday at the Honda Center. It will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network and can be heard on 830 AM radio.

Right wing Jakob Silfverberg said Chicago is the type of challenge they need right now but Boudreau said that "I'd rather play my [teen-aged] son's team in Norfolk, quite frankly.
