'Crocodile Dundee' star Paul Hogan sells light-filled home in Venice

Actor Paul Hogan of "Crocodile Dundee" fame has sold his home in Venice for $1.995 million.

Built in the 1920s and recently remodeled, the gated compound features reclaimed wood beams, plaster walls and polished concrete floors. Walls of glass and automated skylights invite light within the free-flowing floor plan.

Some 1,400 square feet of open space includes a living and dining room area, an updated kitchen and master suite lined with tumbled Carrera marble. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms in all.

Outdoors, a patio and sitting area receive shade from a blanket of tall bamboo.
